Asus just launched the Zenfone AR smartphone in India as it had promised. It is compatible with both Tango AR platform and Google’s Daydream VR platform and was announced as the world’s first smartphone with 8GB of RAM. It has a 23-megapixel main camera with a motion tracking camera and a depth sensing camera that supports Tango’s AR capabilities. It also has 0.03-second Asus TriTech System that uses PDAF, laser auto focus and subject-tracking autofocus for quick focus.
It also comes with a new “immersive” five-magnet speaker that supports High-Res Audio and DTS virtual surround sound. It has fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button that can unlock the phone even if your fingerprint are wet.
