HTC is planning to launch an Android powered 7 inch tablet named as “HTC Scribe”. Recently, Sharp and Asus launched their tablets, but HTC won’t launch its tablet at the CES 2011. According to DigiTimes, HTC will announce the HTC Scribe tablet at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2011 in Barcelona, Spain, during February 14-17.

HTC Scribe will run on the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) OS. According to the rumors, Honeycomb requires a dual core processor to “run properly”, which indirectly means that HTC Scribe will be powered by the Nvidia’s Tegra 2 dual core processor.

Yesterday, HTC launched the EVO Shift 4G on the airwaves of Sprint and the company will soon launch an Android LTE (Long Term Evolution) smartphone, the Droid Incredible HD, at the CES 2011. Stay tuned for more updates on the HTC Scribe tablet.
