Nokia is expected to launch their first tablet that runs on Windows 8 platform around the end of 2012, according to DigiTimes. There were several rumors about Nokia launching Windows 8 tablet in mid-2012 but now more details have emerged. This tablet is expected to feature a 10-inch display and would be powered by Qualcomm’s dual-core processor.
This might feature Qualcomm’s new S4 chipset that was unveiled last December which has been introduced in the HTC One S smartphone that was unveiled at MWC last month. The table is said to be manufactured by Taiwanese ODM Compal Electronics with 200,000 units expected to be shipped in the first batch. If this is true we can expect the tablet at this year’s Nokia World scheduled for September.
