LG Optimus L5 launching in Europe this month, will come with Dual SIM and NFC in certain markets


LG has announced that the LG Optimus L5, their mid-range phone in the L-Series that was announced at MWC 2012 would be available in Europe starting this month. It has also announced that the phone would come with dual SIM capabilities in certain markets such as Asia, CIS, Middle East, Central and South America and NFC “Tag & Play “support in Europe and North America for Mobile payment and sharing.

It has 4.0-inch (320×480 pixels) Capacitive Touch screen display and runs on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich with Optimus UI 3.0. It is powered by 800 MHz Processor and has 5MP auto-focus camera with flash. It is just 9.6mm thick and has 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory with microSD. The connectivity features include, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, aGPS. It has 1500mAh battery.

The LG Optimus L5 would be available in the UK, Germany and France this month, followed by markets in CIS, Middle East and Asia and later in Central America and South America.
