Samsung has officially launched the Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS (GT- S6802) in India. It was announced last month and went on sale earlier this month. It has Dual SIM support with hot swap function and Dual SIM always-on feature that automatically forwards calls from the phone number on SIM 2, even if a user is on the phone with SIM 1’s number. It has 3.5-inch (320 x 480 Pixels) TFT touch screen display and runs on Android 2.3 (Gingerbread) OS. It is powered by 832 MHz processor and has 5MP Auto Focus camera.
Other features include, 3.5 mm audio jack, FM Radio with RDS and it comes with 512MB RAM, 3GB internal memory and microSD slot (up to 32GB). The connectivity features include, 3G HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0, GPS /aGPS.It has 1,300 mAh battery.
It also comes with ChatON, Samsung’s communication service and other apps such as My Movies that offers users access to hundreds of Indian movies, trailers and film songs, My Music that would let you download and listen to English and Bollywood numbers from a vast song collection.
The Samsung Galaxy Ace DUOS is priced at an MRP of Rs. 15,090, but it is available in the market for as low as Rs. 13,000.
