Google to hold an Android event on October 29th

Google has started sending invites for an Android event on October 29th. Looks like the earlier rumors about the event were correct. Google’s  event coincides with the Microsoft’s Windows Phone event in San Francisco. There is nothing in the invite  other than the tag line The playground is open, but according to the earlier rumors, we can expect Nexus devices from LG and Sony.

Google might surprise us with Nexus devices from other manufacturers such as Samsung, who made the Nexus S and the latest Galaxy Nexus, HTC who made the first Nexus device, Nexus One and Motorola.

The event would be streamed live on the official Android YouTube Channel. Let’s wait for couple more weeks to know what Google has to offer.
