Looks like Apple is gearing up to launch the iPhone 5 in India soon. Multiple retailers have started to announce the prices for the latest iPhone.The iPhone 5 might start retailing at Rs.45,500 for the 16GB model. Both White and Black versions of the phone are expected to go on sale. But still stocks are extremely limited considering the global demand for the device. Apple had reportedly appointed Ingram Micro and Redington as distributors for the iPhone 5. This was partially confirmed today as we got a press release from Ingram Micro about the same indicating a November 2nd release and now there is a link to a webpage containing the Redington logo which has popped up.
Here is the expected pricing
- Apple iPhone 5 16GB – Rs.45,500
- Apple iPhone 5 32GB – Rs.52,500
- Apple iPhone 5 64GB – Rs.59,500
Online retailer Saholic is listing the 16GB version for Rs45500 with an estimated shipping date of November 4th.
Now there is a link which shows the iPhone 5 pricing with a Redington logo on the page.The logo on the web page reminds us of Ncarry which was a distribution partner for the iPhone 4S.
