HTC has announced on the their Facebook page that they would launch the Windows Phone 8 devices in India next week. HTC announced the 8X and 8S Windows Phone 8 devices in September, and the phones were in coming soon list in HTC India page since then. These devices are powered by a dual-core processor Snapdragon S4 processor. Nokia would also launch their Windows Phone 8 devices, Lumia 920 and 820 in India in November. But no details about the price of these devices yet.
The HTC Windows Phone 8X comes with a 4.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD super LCD 2 display, 1.5 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 8MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 1080p HD video recording, 2.1MP front-facing camera, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal memory and 1,800 mAh battery, while the 8S comes with a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) super LCD display, 1 GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor, 5MP auto focus camera with LED flash and 720p HD video recording, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal memory, expandable memory with microSD and a 1,700 mAh battery.
