Samsung Galaxy Pocket Plus (GT-S5301), successor of the Galaxy Pocket has surfaced online along with the complete specs. The design looks similar to the Galaxy Pocket. According to SamMobile, it would have similar features including a 2.8-inch QVGA capacitive touch screen display, 2 megapixel camera and a 1200 mAh battery. It would run on Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich). Samsung announced the Galaxy Pocket in March last year, that launched in India in April.
It would have a 850 MHz Broadcom BCM21654 processor, 512MB of RAM, 4GB of internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB with MicroSD. Other features include, 3.5mm audio Jack, Stereo FM Radio with RDS, 3G HSDPA 7.2Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v 3.0 and aGPS.
This seems like a minor upgrade from the Galaxy Pocket, since the Pocket Plus has a slightly improved processor, 512MB RAM, instead of 384MB RAM and Android 4.0 on-board. Samsung is expected to release the Galaxy Pocket Plus in the first half of the 2013.
