Huawei Ascend Mate hands-on


Huawei unveiled the Ascend Mate at the CES 2013 earlier this month. We got you the hands-on photo gallery of the Ascend Mate from the event earlier this month, here is the hands-on video of the device. The phone is huge in the hand and features a 6.1-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla glass protection. It features magic touch technology that would let you use the phone even with gloves. Huwaei’s own 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon K3V2 processor powers the smartphone, and it runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) with Huawei’s EmotionUI 1.5 on top.

It is 9.9 mm thick and weighs 198 grams, but it doesn’t feel heavy. There is a 8.0 Megapixels rear-facing camera with LED Flash, Full HD video recording and a 1MP HD front-facing camera. It has 2GB RAM and has 8GB of internal memory with a expandable memory card slot.

It comes with range of connectivity features such as 3G, Wi-Fi 820.11 a/b/g/n with Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 with EDR and GPS. It has a 4050 mAh battery, to power the large screen.
