Nokia 105 Hands On

The Nokia 105 is possibly one of the most affordable phones out there in the market. Priced at just 15 Euros, it is meant for the budget conscious and first time phone buyers.

Here’s a video demo of the hardware :

The top of the phone sports a 3.5mm port which is use for headphone output. In the center you can also find an LED flashlight which is a pretty important feature for buyers from rural markets.

The design language of the phone is very similar to that of Lumia series of phones. The fabula design characteristic carries over to the back of the smartphone which has a small black tab with Nokia engraved into it. Plastics instead of the usual ceramic or aluminum are used to keep the pricing low.

The inbuilt ROM is just about 8MB which should be more than enough to store all your contacts and messages.

The Nokia 105 is available in cyan and black and is priced at 15Euros without taxes. The phone will go on sale globally starting Q1 2013. We expect that the phone will do very well in the tier 2 and 3 segment in markets like India, China.
