We unboxed the Samsung Galaxy S3 mini (GT-I8190) earlier this week. Here we have the benchmarks of the device. The Galaxy S3 mini was announced back in October 2012. It is powered by a dual-core NovaThor U8420 chip clocked at 1 GHz and has a Mali-400 GPU. It has a 4.0-inch (480×800 pixels ) Super AMOLED display at 223 ppi pixel density. Let’s see how the phone performance in the benchmark tests.

The Galaxy S3 mini is just behind the Galaxy S3 mini in the Quadrant Benchmark.
AnTuTu Benchmark v2.9
The Samsung Galaxy S2 AnTuTu benchmark scores are better than the scores of the S3 mini.
AnTuTu Benchmark v3.2.1
It scores 6782 points in the AnTuTu Benchmark 3.2.
Vellamo 1.0
The Galaxy S3 mini behind both the Grand Duos and the Xperia go in the Vellamo 1.0 browser benchmark.
Vellamo 2.0 HTML5 and Metal
It scores 1310 points in the HTML5 web browser test and 321 points in the metal CPU subsystem performance.
Linpack (Single Thread)
Linpack (Multi-Thread)
The Samsung Galaxy S3 mini lies between the Galaxy Grand Duos and the Xperia go in the Linpack single thread benchmark and gets a similar score as the Xperia go in the Linpack multi-thread benchmark.
NenaMark 2
The Galaxy S3 mini lies behind both the Xperia go and the Grand Duos in the NenaMark GPU benchmark.
GLBenchmark 2.5 Egypt HD (1080p) (On screen)
It managed to clock 11 fps in the GLBenchmark Egypt. Overall the performance of the device is decent, but it couldn’t beat the the Galaxy Grand Duos in most of the Benchmarks.
