Rightware has launched the Basemark X benchmarking tool for Android, iPhone and iPad that would offer high-quality and objective performance information for smartphones and tablets. It is built on Unity 4.0, a real-world gaming engine used in hundreds of mobile games. It has advanced game-like content, including particle effects, advanced lighting effects and post processing.
The Basemark X incorporates more demanding workloads than previous OpenGL ES 2.0 benchmarks such as Basemark ES. It also has integrated online results comparison service, Power Board that would let you compare the scores with more than 1000 different devices. Rightware launched Browsermark 2.0 multi-platform Browser Benchmark tool last year.
