Samsung has announced the Galaxy Core, a new mid-range Android smartphone in the Galaxy series. This has a 4.3-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) LCD capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz dual-core processor and runs on Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has a 5-megapixel Auto Focus Camera with LED Flash and a 0.3MP (VGA)front-facing camera. It has Smart Stay, Smart Alert and S Voice assistant. This looks like a budget version of the Galaxy S2 Plus that went on sale in India back in March. It would also come in dual SIM variant with Smart dual SIM option, similar to the Galaxy Win that went on sale in India earlier this month.
