Pantech Vega Iron 2, upcoming smartphone from the Korean manufacturer would be the first smartphone to be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, according to a report from a Korean website Techorz. The smartphone recently appeared on red dot design website with the model number IM-A910 S,K,L along with an image. This indicates that the phone would launch on all three Korean carriers S (SKT), K (KT) and L (LG U +).
The phone would have a metal ring around the display and would be 7.9mm thin. According to the leak, the phone would feature a 5.5-inch 1080p screen, Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS, 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 3 megapixel front-facing camera, 2GB DDR3 RAM, , 32GB / 64GB of storage space, USB 3.0, LTE-A connectivity and 2800 mAh battery. No word on the launch date for the Korea market or pricing yet.
Since the Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 SoC would no ship until the end of the first half of this year, new Smartphones announced at the Mobile World congress, including the Samsung Galaxy S5 and the Sony Xperia Z2 comes with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chip.
