Samsung introduces new Standard, EVO and PRO memory cards

Samsung has introduced new memory card line-up that includes, standard, EVO and PRO series. The Standard series is a entry-level and affordable card for daily use. It comes in Blue color and belongs to Class 6 that would offer speeds up to 24 MB/s. It comes in 4GB to 32GB capacities. This comes in both micro SD and standard SD variants.

Samsung introduced their Series 800 SSDs in the EVO series first. Now it has come up with memory cards in the EVO series. This belongs to UHS-1 Class 10 category and offers transfer speeds of up to 48 MB/s. It comes in Orange color and would be available in 8GB to 64GB capacities for the micro SD variant and 16GB or 32GB capacities for the SD variant.

The silver colored PRO cards is aimed at professionals and would be suitable for full HD video recording in smartphones. It belongs to Ultra High Speed ​​UHS-1 category that offers transfer speeds of up to 90 MB/s for the 64GB variant, 80 MB/s for 32GB and 50 MB/s for 16GB. The PRO series also come in SD and micro SD variants in 16, 32 and 64GB capacities.

These cards have 5 proof technique that can withstand, immersion, heat, shock, and prevent data corruption caused by x-rays, magnetic field. It can survive in three-meter deep water for 24 hours and withstand minus 25-degree celsius to 85-degree celsius.

These memory cards would go on sale in the United States and Korea starting this month, followed by China, Europe and other global markets.
