Samsung has introduced the Galaxy S5 (SM-G9009D) with dual SIM support in China. This would have 2G GSM support and 3G CDMA support for local operator China Telecom. Other than the network difference, all the other features are similar to the global variant of the Galaxy S5, including a 5.1-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) Super AMOLED display, 2.5 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor and Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.
It has a 16-megapixel rear camera with ISOCELL sensor, LED Flash, 4K video recording, HDR (Rich tone), and a 2.1-megapixel front-facing camera. Other features include, 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, expandable memory microSD, Infrared LED, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2X2 MIMO), Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS, USB 3.0, NFC and a 2800 mAh battery.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G9009D) Dual SIM smartphone is priced at 5299 Chinese Yuan equals (Rs. 51370 approx) and is available for pre-order in China from the official Samsung Store. It would be exclusive for China Telecom and would ship starting April 11th. The single SIM variant of the Galaxy S5 with Exynos processor is available for pre-order in India and would go on sale later this week.
