Bharti Airtel has announced that it has crossed the milestone of 100 Company-Owned-Company-Operated (COCO) Airtel retail outlets across India. Airtel launched its first Airtel stores at South Extension (New Delhi) in February, 2013, that has extended to 35 cities and towns across 14 states. It took just 14 months reach the milestone.
These stores would offer the best service experience for customers and will offer end-to-end service support for their Airtel mobile, dongle and broadband connections, says the company. Airtel has also launched separate Airtel stores run as well as managed by women employees, to address the needs of female customers across the country, especially tier 2 and 3 cities.
These stores would also offer quick attention to service requests and complaints, superfast activation, option to choose from vast collection of mobile devices, data-savvy staff to pick a mobile device of choice and easy transfer of all phone content, contacts and data to new device.
Commenting on the milestone, Srini Gopalan, Director – Consumer Business, Bharti Airtel said,
