Lava has launched Lava Iris 406Q the latest smartphone in the Iris series. It went on pre-order online yesterday and has a 4-inch WVGA display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera.It has 3G connectivity and has dual SIM support with dual standby.
It packs 1GB RAM and a 1700 mAh battery. It also comes with Battery Guru app that learns usage patterns and conserves the smartphone battery and Audio Plus software that would offer surround sound, 3D audio and wider bass while using headphones.

The Lava Iris 406Q would be available in Black and White colors. It is still listed as coming soon without the price tag. Lava is expected to launch the Iris 450 COLOUR smartphone and IvoryS tablet soon.
