Chaifire is a popular XDA forums developer and is known for his rooted applications like Chainfire 3D and CF.lumen. CF.lumen allows you to control the color tone of your display for smartphones and if you have used f.lux for your PC or laptop, then you might be well aware of what it does. CF.lumen is similar to f.lux, but it is available for Android devices and comes with more settings and options.
According to ChainFire, the night mode for UI and color temperature adjustment modes from his CF.lumen app for Gingerbread have been requested for Android KitKat and now he has released it as CF.lumen on the Google Play Store. The application works only with rooted devices. CF.lumen offers a lot of options for controlling the color temperatures for your device’s display along with automatic adjustments based on your current location and the time of the day.
If you have a rooted Android KitKat smartphone, then you can try the application from Google Play Store.
