Oppo R1 that was unveiled back in December last year had a quad-core MediaTek processor, Oppo R1S codenamed R8007 has been certified on TENNA in China. This is expected to come with a 1.6 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor and would come with the same 5-inch HD display. It would run on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean) with Oppo’s own Color ROM on top and come with an upgraded 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
The phone resembles the Oppo R1 and is expected to come in black and white colors. It would come with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage, but the battery capacity is not available yet.
