Nokia launched the Nokia X in India last month priced at Rs. Rs. 8599. It received a price cut recently and is available for as low as Rs. 7027. The Nokia X is the first smartphone from Nokia based on Android. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 play (MSM8225) processor and runs on Nokia X software platform based on AOSP Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). It has dual SIM support and a 3-megapixel rear camera.

The Nokia X software platform got updated to version 1.1 recently that brought a lot of fixes and performance improvements. Nokia X users also get free 3G data from Airtel for 3 months. Nokia is expected to launch the Nokia X+ and the XL in the X series by next month.
