Nokia came up with the Comes with Music initiative, where you pay some premium on the hardware and you get music downloads fro free and the tracks will sit on your phone for almost one year. This initiative was a part of Nokia’s Next Episode in Entertainment. Apple, it seems, has liked this kind of business model and is planning to give users ‘free’ access to iTunes in exchange for paying a premium on the hardware. Apple is said to be in talks with major music label brands to kickoff this initiative. Industry rumors point that Apple will be paying $20 per handset to the music label company..hmmm Nokia pays $80…I think Apple has to increase the price it pays per handset so that their initiative strats rolling.
