Motorola Moto E confirmed through import export listing, rumored to cost Rs. 8999

Last week Motorola scheduled two separate events in London and India on May 13th to unveil its affordable smartphone. According to a listing on Zauba, Indian import/export website, Moto E (XT-1022) has been imported from China to Bangalore few days back. This was first spotted by AndroidOS. Since the phone has already been imported, it is expected to go on sale soon, after it launches on May 13th.

According to @LeaksterInc, a new leakster on Twitter, the phone would be priced at Rs. 8999 and would exclusively be available through Flipkart, similar to Moto G and Moto X. We guess it will be priced between Rs. 7000 and Rs. 9000. Specifications of the Moto E leaked last month. Here are the rumored specifications

Motorola Moto E rumored specifications

  • 4.3-inch (960 x 540 pixels) qHD display
