Huawei has finally announced the Ascend P7, the successor of last year’s Ascend P6 at an event in Paris, France. It has a 5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) full HD IPS touch-sensitive display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3, powered by Huawei’s own 1.8 GHz quad-core processor with Mali-450 MP4 GPU and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Huawei own Emotion UI 2.3 on top. It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with Sony’s BSI sensor, f/2.0 aperture and Huawei’s proprietary Image Signal Processor (ISP).
It has IMAGESmart 2.0, Ultra Snapshot function to launch camera in 1.2 seconds by double-clicking the down volume button from a locked mode and more. It also has a 8-megapixel front-facing camera with panorama function for panoramic selfies, 10 level auto-facial enhancement in beauty mode and 1080p selfie video.
It also has Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection on the back that has unique micro-pattern design. It has LTE support and packs a 2500 mAh battery with ultra power saving mode that lets you stretch 10 percent of remaining battery power to last 24 hours on standby.
