Adobe Voice storytelling app released for iPad

Adobe has launched a storytelling app for iPad that enables users to make animated videos which can be turned into stories. Dubbed as Adobe Voice, the app creates a video story by adding elements like music, graphics, voice recordings and images. This animated engaging video story can then be shared easily on social media, email, personal blogs, websites and Adobe’s Creative Cloud platform.

Adobe Voice puts the power of Creative Cloud’s industry-leading video and audio technology into the hands of the masses,” Winston Hendrickson, Adobe’s vice-president of products for Creative Media Solutions, said Adobe in a release.

The app that users Adobe’s in house technologies like Adobe after effect can be used by anyone from a student to creative professionals.  Adobe Voice boasts of example videos, a library of 25,000 designed icons, millions of images on the Web or users’ own photos, a number of effects, a selection of music and animated themes. Graphic effects includes chalkboard- and watercolor-style themes, real-time motion blur, 3-D and shadows. All these features are powered by Adobe’s After Effect Technology.

In case of voice, users can add soundtracks that are specially created by Adobe and also add their own voice to their story. A credits page that is automatically added to the end of all videos with every Creative  Commons icon or image used is credited properly.

The app is compatible with iPad 2 or higher and iOS 7 and is available for free download at the Apple App Store.
