HTC shows whats coming in Sense 6.0 update for HTC One smartphones


Ahead of releasing the Sense 6.0 update for the HTC One series of smartphones that were launched last year, HTC has given us details about what to expect in the latest update on their official website. According to the information furnished by HTC, the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update along with Sense 6.0 is in the final stages for most carriers is expected soon. The following screenshot shows the overview of the features and the status of the update.

As you can see, HTC have updated some of their core apps like BlinkFeed, Camera and Gallery. The latest update brings a lot of color to the UI as you can choose themes based on colors. HTC has also added some more functionality to BlinkFeed like a sidebar for easier navigation, new interface to add content and nearby restaurant recommendations.

You can now customize fonts on your phone – you get three fonts preinstalled and more fonts can be downloaded from Play Store. The camera application has been updated to look like the one on the All new HTC One M8 and the gallery application too sees an update. Along with Sense 6.0, you get a more usable app tray. The HTC Sense TV gets a redesign matching HTC’s latest color coded theme.
