Motorola unveiled the Moto E, a budget smartphone and Moto G LTE yesterday. It also announced the rumored Moto G Ferrari Edition for Mexico. It comes in a new black with red color with Kevlar back cover, Ferrari logo on the back, Ferrari branding on the front, exclusive content such as themes and wallpaper and special accessories.
Other specifications of the smartphone are similar to the original Moto G, including a 4.5-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) edge-to-edge display at 329 ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass protection, 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 5MP rear camera, 1.3MP front-facing camera and 1GB RAM. It runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) out of the box, 2070 mAh battery and comes only in 16GB variant.
The Motorola Moto G Ferrari Edition is priced at 4999 Mexican Pesos (Rs. 23,000 approx.). It is expected to go on sale in Mexico in coming weeks. It is not clear if Motorola plans to launch the smartphone outside Mexico.
