Back in December last year HP launched three tablets in the US, including the HP Slate7 Plus at a price tag of $149.99. Now the company has launched HP 7 Plus, a WiFi-only tablet in the US at even cheaper price tag of just $99.99 (Rs. 5875 approx.). It has a 7-inch (1024 × 600 pixels) multi touch LED-backlit IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean). It has a 2-megapixel fixed-focus rear camera and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has 1GB ARM, 8GB of internal storage and also comes with an expansion slot. It packs a 2800 mAh battery. It also comes with 25GB of free lifetime storage with cloud storage service Box and includes Kingsoft Office software.

The HP 7 Plus comes in White with silver color and is available from official HP shopping website in the U.S. It is not clear if HP plans to launch this affordable tablet globally.
