HTC One Sense 6 update now rolling out in India

HTC released the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the HTC One in India earlier this year, now the company has started rolling out the Sense 6 update for the Indian users. Last month HTC promised that it would release the Sense 6 update for the HTC One users starting from May, and it has kept its promise. Several HTC One users in India have shared the screenshot of the update on official HTC India Facebook page.

Few weeks back HTC released screenshots and the complete set of features in the Sense 6 update. The new update brings updated BlinkFeed, Camera and Gallery, option to choose themes based on colors, option to customize fonts, new camera app that now looks similar to HTC One M8, redesign HTC Sense TV and lots more.

The new software update (v5.12.707.3) for the HTC One brings

  • New interface for Gallery and Camera
  • Timeline view for better photo management
  • Support for POI location in Map view
  •  Smooth, continuous scrolling experience in BlinkFeed

The new Sense 6 update for the HTC One is available OTA in India, which is 666.06 MB. Other HTC One users in Asian countries have also started getting the latest update for the single SIM version. The size of the update might vary depending on he country. It is not clear when the HTC One Dual SIM would get the Sense 6 update in India.
