Google has started rolling out a new (v2.2) update for the Google Camera app for Android users that brings a lot of new features, including new panorama modes, option to set a timer, take a snap while shooting video and more. The company released the Google Camera, a standalone camera app for Android smartphones last month on Google Play that brought SLR-like Lens Blur mode. This update brings SLR-like creative picture modes wide angle and fisheye for Panorama.
Option to choose between 16:9 and 4:3 aspect ratios are available in the settings and is also available for the front-facing camera. Selecting 16:9 aspect ratio reduces the image resolution. Panorama feature is not available for all the smartphones.
