Asus made a lot of announcements at Computex 2014 event that was held in Taipei and the refreshed Asus MeMO Pad 7 was among the them. Asus announced the upgraded MeMO Pad 7 after an year and in terms of specifications, there isn’t much change except for the fact that the MediaTek processor in the yesteryear model has been replaced by a powerful Intel Atom Z3745 SoC in the latest generation.
We are live from Taipei for the Computex 2014 event and we managed to take a few photos of the Asus MeMO Pad 7 in our short time with the device. Before you go check out the photos, you can check out the specifications of the new Asus MeMO Pad 7 right below.

There isn’t much change in terms of design from the previous generation Asus MeMO Pad 7. There is a protruding 5MP camera on the back of the device and below the camera, we have the ASUS logo. There is no flash though.
On the right side of the tablet, we have the volume rocker and the power button.
The speaker grill is seen on the back towards the bottom of the tablet.
On the left side of the tablet, we have the microSD card slot. The 3.5mm audio jack is on the top of the device.
The Asus MeMO Pad 7 runs on Android 4.4 KitKat and is overlaid by a now heavy Asus Zen UI skin.
The pricing of the device is expected to be in the sub $150 category and the device will be available in Q3, 2014.
