The company has reportedly customized Omron’s creation so that it can be used to show 3D effects on an ordinary LCD screen without special glasses. We already know that the smartphone will have four IR cameras on the front, in order to scan users’ face and Okao vision technology will help the phone detect users head.

The TechCrunch report confirms tilting gesture control that will enable user to access and browse the phone using head movements. The cameras are said to be aligned in stereo, feeding the Okao software data. Moreover,  the technology can also recognize facial features and determine the user’s gender , age and ethnicity.

Moving on, the report states that along with reading data delivered by the four front cameras, which are placed in each corner of the phone to track X, Y, and Z coordinates, the technology will also take advantage of the phone’s gyro sensor and accelerometer to offer faster response.

According to earlier rumors, we already know that the phone will have 4.7 inch screen and Qualcomm Snapdragon processor along with 2GB of RAM, and a heavily modified version of Google’s Android OS.
