Pinterest has finally launched it official app for Windows Phone 8. The app which is still in beta will enable users to pin, share and plan events similar to its iOS and Android counterpart.
Compatible with Windows Phone 8 and Windows Phone 8.1, the app boasts of a similar UI with the grid layout. However, the app will not have all the advanced tools like guided search, notifications menu and others. It is most likely that the Windows app will get updated with additional tools in near future. The app is said to be a shortcut to Pinterest’s mobile website. Also, Pinterest is looking for user feedback in order to make its more powerfull.
The popular scrapbooking social network announced in April that its has some 30 billion pins and hosts 750 million boards curated by users and brands. Windows Phone is gradually bringing all the important apps to its platform which will eventually help them switch users to its platform.
