Samsung Galaxy K zoom launched as Galaxy Zoom 2 in Korea

Samsung unveiled the K zoom, its latest camera-centric smartphone at an event in Singapore back in April. The company is all set to launch the smartphone in its home ground Korea and it has renamed it Galaxy Zoom 2 for the Korean market. All theĀ features of the Zoom 2 are similar to the K zoom, including a 20.7MP rear camera with Xenon Flash, BSI Sensor, OIS and 10x optical zoom, 4.8-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Super AMOLED display, 1.7 GHz Dual Core + 1.3 GHz Quad Core Exynos (5260) processor with Mali-T624 GPU and Android 4.4 (KitKat).

It also has a 2-megapixel front-facing camera. It has 2GB RAM and comes with 16GB of internal memory instead of 8GB of storage in the international variant. It has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Wi-Fi Direct, DLNA, Bluetooth v4.0 LE, GPS + GLONASS, NFC and packs a 2,430mAh battery.

The Samsung Galaxy Zoom 2 would be available in n Charcoal Black, Shimmery White and Electric Blue colors . It is priced at 693000 South Korean Won (US$ 680 / Rs. 40,450 approx) and would launch exclusively launch on LG U+ tomorrow, June 13th. Check out the Samsung Galaxy K zoom hands-on.
