Google announces certified partners for ‘Glass at Work’ program

Google  introduced its ‘Glass at Work’ program in April that aimed at bringing enterprise apps to Glass. Today, the company has announced first batch of partners viz, APX, Augmedix, Crowdoptic, GuidiGO and Wearable Intelligence. These companies will help create new Glass-powered innovations for businesses.

Glass Certified Partners are authorized by Google’s Glass at Work program for delivering enterprise solutions for Glass. The developers are also eligible for co-branding and listing on the Glass at Work website

APX Labs makes Skylight, a business software app for Glass; AugMedix markets a service for doctors that streamlines communication with electronic medical records; CrowdOptic makes context-aware applications for the sports, entertainment and medical industries; GuidiGo aims to make museums and cultural institutions more connected; and Wearable Intelligence creates workflow, communications, training, and data access products.

Google made Glass available for general public in the US at a price tag of $1500 last month. Prior to that it had launched try and buy program.
