Airtel today launched its new 3G dongle that would offer download speeds of up to 21.6 Mbps on 3G. This lets users create a Wi-Fi hotspot easily by plugging it into a laptop, phone charger or a car stereo. This can be shared with up to 5 devices simultaneously. It also has a microSD card slot and comes with SMS support. This dongle is manufactured by ZTE.
Airtel offers cash back plans for postpaid users that would offer them cashback of Rs. 700 (Rs. 100 per month) on Rs. 650 plan and above. Prepaid users get 6GB of 3G data valid for a period of 30 days in the Rs. 950 plans.

In these unlimited plans after the data limit, speed would be throttled to 128kbps, but it would remain unlimited till the validity period.
The new Airtel dongle would be available in phased manner across India starting with Mumbai and Andhra Pradesh. It would be available through popular retail chains including Vijay Sales, TMS & Reliance Digital in Mumbai and Universal, Hot Spot & Technovision in AP.
