Spice has launched Stellar 445, the latest smartphone in the Stellar series. It has a 4-inch (800 x 480 pixels) touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor and runs on Android 4.3 (Jelly Bean). It has a 3.2-megapixel rear camera without flash and a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It has 3G connectivity and dual SIM support, similar to most phones in Stellar range. It comes pre-loaded with OLX, WhatsApp and more apps. Spice also offers 2GB of free storage on Spice Cloud to backup your data. It has Snapdragon audio+ Technology for enhanced audio output, support for multiple Indian languages such as English, Hindi, Bangla, Tamil, Telugu and Marathi and has Swift Keyboard.
Commenting on the launch, T M Ramakrishnan, CEO – Devices, Spice Retail Ltd, said,

The Spice Stellar 445 comes in black color and is priced at Rs. 5299 (MOP). It would be available in the first week of July Looks like this is the cheapest quad-core smartphone in the Indian market currently. Wish this had 1GB RAM and LED flash to compete with Karbonn Titanium S1 Plus that was launched recently priced at Rs. 5,749.
