Facebook has finally launched the Facebook Messenger app for iPad. The dedicated chat app was previously available only on the iPhone however people could use the app.
Messenger for iPad has a multi-window interface, which lets you see a list of your conversations and your current chat simultaneously. Like the iPhone app, the iPad version supports stickers and in-app calls. However, it does not have split-screen selfie camera and tap-and-hold quick video recordings features that were introduced recently. Updates to the app include bug fixes and the ability to save videos within the app directly to your phone’s camera roll.
Facebook annonunced few months back that Messenger has over 200 million users. It also updates its Android and iPhone app with voice calling, stickers.
