Flappy Bird clone Flopsy Droid lands on Play Store for Android Wear

Flappy Bird, the popular mobile gaming sensation that took the world by storm was taken down by the creator in February this year. However, in May there were reports that the game is making is way back in August with multiplayer capabilities. In the meantime clones of the game that was fetching $50,000 a day through Ad revenue were adding on the app stores.

Today, another clone of the Flappy Bird has arrived on the Play Store, however this one is for the Android Wear. Dubbed as Flopsy Droid, the game runs on the similar lines of the Flappy bird. For those unaware, the main plot of the game is to fly the featured small bird between green pipes, tapping the touch-screen to keep him airborne. In case of the Flopsy Bird, the game plot is same except that in place of a bird you have to fly a green droid through pipes.

Also, the game is modified for smaller screen and can only be played on Android Wear devices like LG G Watch and Samsung Gear Live. The game which looks simple is actually hard to play even on a smartphone hence it will be interesting to see how will the smartwatch owners play it on a small screen. Available as a free download on the Google Play Store, the game is created by German computer science student, Sebastien Mauer.

Android Wear device owners can download the game from Google Play here
