Samsung unveiled the Galaxy Core 2 (SM-G355H), its latest mid-range smartphone and the successor of Galaxy Core recently. Manish Khatri from Mahesh Telecom reports that the phone would be priced at Rs. 11,599 (MOP) and the MRP would be Rs. 13,390. It packs a 4.5-inch (800 x 480 Pixels) capacitive touch screen display, powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core processor and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) with Samsung TouchWiz Essence UI.
It has a 5-megapixel auto focus rear camera with LED flash and a 0.3-megapixel (VGA) front-facing camera. It comes with dual SIM support, has 3G HSPA+ connectivity, 768MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage with expansion slot and 2000 mAh battery. It has leather-like back cover.

The Samsung Galaxy Core II comes in Black and White colors. According to the retailer the Samsung Galaxy Core 2 stock would arrive tomorrow. The Samsung Galaxy Ace NXT went on sale in India recently for Rs. 7,399. Samsung is also expected to launch Young 2, Star2 and Ace 4 in India soon, according to the retailer.
