In a bid to boost its online video offering, Yahoo has acquired video streaming firm RayV. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. RayV is an Israeli based startup that specializing in streaming high-quality video to computers and mobile devices. Founded in 2005, the members of RayV will join Yahoo’s research and development center in Tel Aviv.

Yahoo has been focusing on mobile offerings under Marissa Mayer’s reign for over two years. The company has increased its mobile users base and it surpassed the desktop users in May this year.
