Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might feature flexible display, 16MP camera with OIS and metal build


Last week there were rumors that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might come with a retina scanner. Now, a new report from Korean publication ET News is stating that the Galaxy Note 4 will sport a flexible display and have a metal build. It also states that the phone will boast of a 16-megapixel camera with optical image stabilization (OIS).

The fourth generation of the Galaxy Note series might also be available in a plastic variant along with a metal one. It is also reportedly experimenting with various material choices, including stainless steel, aluminum, magnesium. In case of a flexible display it is not clear what screen size has Samsung settled this time for the Note 4. However, the ET News report touts that the company has increase the production of flexible display by 50%.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is expected to have 5.7 inch display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. It will apparently come with a new 64-bit Samsung Exynos 5433 processor, there is also rumored to be another version with a quad core Snapdragon 805 processor. The phone is expected to be announced at IFA in Berlin on September 5th.
