Xolo A550S IPS, the company’s latest smartphone in the A Series is now available from online retailer Flipkart. It has a 4-inch WVGA IPS display, powered by a 1 GHz dual-core MediaTek MT6572M processor and runs on Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) OS that is upgradable to Android 4.4 (KitKat). It has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, 720p video recording and has a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera.
It comes with dual SIM support with dual standby, similar to other Xolo smartphones and packs 512 MB RAM, 4GB of internal storage with expansion slot. It has leather-like back cover. This is a minor upgrade to A500s that was launched last year.
