Blue Samsung Galaxy S5 to arrive August 17th in the US

To give the current Samsung flagship a touch of style, a Blue colour variant of the device will be making its way soon. The Blue version of the Galaxy S5 will however be available only in the US, in the initial phase at least, via Best Buy. The Galaxy S5 has been on sale for quite a few months now, and it is not often that Samsung pulls off something like this.

However, the Galaxy S5 isn’t known for its style anyway; Samsung would want to change that. Other flagships such as the HTC M8 and the LG G3 do have a bit more ‘oomph’ as they say, with their unique exterior looks. Samsung, however, has chosen to stick to the tried and tested design it’s been using for a while now.

If you’re confused what’s different from the already available blue version, it’s the front: the new Blue comes with monotone whereas the existing one has a black front. It’ll be available on a 2 year contract on Sprint, Verizon and AT&T, with a $99 price tag if bought within a week from launch.
