Ah! Finally, a proper Evernote client for Symbian has emerged, although it currently supports only S60v5 Devices viz Nokia 5800 XM, Nokia N97, N97 Mini, Nokia X6 etc.
Though a WRT (Web Run Time) Widget has been available for many months now, it was practically not that usable. Well, the same WRT widget just got an update to version 1.0.70302 yesterday and is pretty much usable now.
Salient Features of this Widget:
- Take notes (Text, Audio, Picture or File) and Browse through your previous notes.
- View your Account Information and check the activity of the notes getting synced or waiting to be uploaded and the current monthly usage status of your account.
- Modify the settings of the widget to your preference.
- Enable GPS for geotagging the notes that you take and also check for any updates to the widget.
- Search for Notes (Text/Audio/Picture/File) previously stored.
The widget seems to be in constant development and I guess it will soon cater all the devices on S60v3 devices as well.
