Latest Line Android App update suggests relevant stickers for chats


Line has updated its Android App with a new suggest feature that lets users find stickers just by entering the text. The version 4.6.0 suggests stickers ad emojis based on your conversation type.

This means, if a user is typing the word ‘sleepy’, Line will suggest you a stickers of characters depicting sleep, yawn and so on. At present only free and a handful of paid stickers are compatible with this feature. The Japanese firm has stated that more stickers and emojis will be added in the future. The Suggest feature is optional and users can turn them off by going into Settings>Stickers > Display Suggestions. It is currently available in Japanese, English, and Spanish language.

In addition, Line has also added a shortcut for Premium Calls on the home screen. Premium Calls is the app’s service for dialling domestic and international numbers. This update also brings another enhancements which enable users to forward or share chat links with up to 10 recipients at once. Earlier, it was possible to forward one talk or share one external site link with one chat room at a time.

Line had offered more than 1500 paid stickers for Indian users in May while in June it launched Selfie Sticker app for iPhone users. The latest update is at present available on Android and there is no word whether it will land on other platforms.
