Motorola Shamu rumored to be Nexus 6 spotted at GFX Benchmark

There were reports last month stating that Google and Motorola are working on a large screen Nexus device that is code named Shamu. Today, the Motorola Shamu has made an appearance at GFX benchmark.

The device will sport a  1080p HD display and is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 chipset. Earlier rumors had stated that the phone will have 5.9 inch screen. The GFX Benchmark tests hints at the fact that the upcoming Nexus smartphone should come with internal hardware that is similar to the Samsung Galaxy S5, the Sony Xperia Z2, the OnePlus One, and the HTC One M8.

Various reports are suggesting that Nexus 6 will be officially introduced late-October or early-November, when Android L is expected to be released for the public. Unfortunately, the leak does not mention any specs. There were rumors stating that the Nexus 6 will be LG made but the company executive denied them in June.
