Oppo unveiled its flagship Find 7 and Find 7a smartphones back in March. Then came the OnePlus One in April after huge expectations. The design of the OnePlus One is similar to the Oppo Find 7. Check out the photo gallery of these smartphones to find out how similar these look.
Even though the design is similar between these two smartphones, there are some visual changes. Both have 5.5-inch display, but the Find 7 has Quad HD screen. OnePlus has a 1080p screen, similar to the Find 7a.
The earpiece design, placement of the camera and the sensors are different in these phones. Size of bezels on the sides seem similar in both.
Both have capacitive touch buttons below the screen. There is a Skyline Notification on the chin on the Find 7 that notifies with blue oscillating light. This is not present on the OnePlus One, but you have a chin in white color.
One plus have two chrome rim running on the sides, but the Find 7 has only one thick rim around the bezel.
To open the back cover you need to use a dedicated pin in both these smartphones.
There is a change in placement of power button and volume rockers in both these phones.
Micro USB slot and the microphone are on the bottom on both, but the OnePlus one has speakers on the bottom.
Placement of the 3.5mm audio jack is similar in both. Again, placement of the secondary microphone is different. It’s present on the top in OnePlus One.
Both these have a 13-megapixel camera with dual LED flash and Sony IMX214 sensor. The Find 7 has Super Zoom mode to capture 50MP images by combining four shots into a high resolution image. The secondary microphone is present above the camera in the Find 7.
The OnePlus One has Cyanogen branding on the back since it’s the Cyanogen version. The Find 7 has the loudspeaker grill on the back, but doesn’t have any branding.
The back cover is smooth finish in the 16GB white version of the OnePlus One, but the 64GB Sandstone Black version here has a rough feel, just like a sand paper. The back cover of the Find 7 is smooth.
The OnePlus One runs on Android 4.4.2 -based CyanogenMod 11S. It comes with Color OS in China. The Find 7 runs Android 4.3 Jelly Bean underneath with the Color OS in v1.2.
The 3000 mAh removable Lithium Polymer battery on the Find 7 has VOOC rapid charge technology that lets you rapidly charge it from 0 to 75% in 30 minutes and to 100% in just 70 minutes. The 3100 mAh non-removable battery on the OnePlus One doesn’t have VOOC. The Find 7 also has a microSD slot, which is absent in the OnePlus One.
