Meizu MX4, the company’s upcoming flagship smartphone and the successor of last year’s MX3 is the most expected smartphone this year. Earlier rumors said that it would feature a 20.7-megapixel camera from Sony, slim bezel and even a fingerprint reader. A recent leak through a leaflet has revealed how the phone would look and the specifications of the smartphone.
According to the Weibo user, who got hold of the leaflet, the Pro variant of the MX4 would come with a 5.5 inch screen with a weird resolution of 1536 x 2560 pixels, powered by a Exynos 5433 processor and 3GB of RAM. It would come with a 20.7-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 8-megapixel front-facing camera.
It would also comes in another variant that would have a 5-inch 1080p display and Exynos 5430 processor. RAM and the cameras would be similar to the Pro variant. Both these devices would run on Flyme 4.0 OS. Live images of the smartphone has been leaked by another Weibo user shows AnTuTu Benchmark scores. According to the leak, the standard variant would be priced at 2499 CNY (Rs. 24,700 / US$405 approx).
Today, Meizu announced an event on September 2nd at Beijing National Stadium. It is expected to unveil the MX4 and the Flyme 4.0 OS at the event.
